Community living comes in a all shapes and sizes! 

It doesn’t have to mean living in a commune dancing around a fire naked – unless that’s what you are looking for of course! 

Wherever you are in the world you can get active and create a better community. You could start a communal vegetable garden or arrange a community meal where everyone brings a dish. Joinavision began by organising weekly walks in nature – we grew because we connected face-to-face as well as online. 

What we mustn’t do is limit ourselves in our perception of community. Whatever you want to create you can.

In terms of changing the way we actually live there are many benefits to community living; daily tasks are shared, you are able to focus your energy on following your passion, setting up a new business, spending time with your family, helping other families with their load and just generally living a more connected way of life.

Our current lives are spent working long hours to pay our mortgages and bills. By joining with others we can reduce these outgoings and increase the amount of time we have doing what we love.

It’s then we can start to thrive instead of just survive.
